This is an absolutely essential release for any fan of mutant disco and post punk! Liquid Liquid were, alongside labelmates ESG, one of the best bands to emerge from the underground downtown New York scene of the late 70s and early 80s - the focus of our New York Noise series of compilations!
Domino records have done a truly brilliant job of reissuing this music, with gorgeous artwork by band member Richard McGuire and loads of great notes and photos plus scans of rare gig flyers and sleeve art! And this package is essential even for fans who alreay have all the original 12"s or the Mowax reissue because it includes BRILLIANT previously unissued tracks such as Sank into the Chair and Outer!
