This is the brand new album from radical spoken-word poet, singer and all round legend Gil Scott-Heron!!!

This is Gil Scott-Heron's first album in over fifteen years and 'I'm Here Now' proves that Gil has not lost his deep raspy voice and amazing narrative story-telling talents. There are strict instructions on the inner sleeve on how to create the right environment to listen to this album - 'not to listen to it in the car' to 'listen to it all the way through'. He's right, the lyrical content is so deeply personal that you need to give this album your full concentration. The music is very different to his previous albums with a distinctly '2010' new feel. The album incorporates dubstep to atmospheric hip hop style beats for a bolder contemporary sound with tracks like 'Me And The Devil' and 'Your Soul And Mine' alongside bluesy acoustic guitar-led tracks such as I'm Here Now'.
