    Further insight into the mind of Sydney's mad producer Dro Carey. If you've been checking his 'Brain So Soft' tumblr, and his records on Ikonika & Optimum's Hum&Buzz or Will Bankhead's Trilogy Tapes, you'll know to expect a unique kind of weirdness, lurching between abrasive and sensual. On 'Journey With The Heavy', he rips through the frantic syncopation of modern US dance, sugary RnB tropes, and the UK rave, between mimickry and mockery - making it a complex listen over this extended format, at times dangerously fun, at times mesmerisingly delicate. Recommended.
