Trinidadian vocalist Dot Evans joined the Antiguan Brute Force Steel Band for this collaborative project that displays the luxurious melodies and rhythmic rigors of steel pan music and the Caribbean calypso. Among the purely instrumental pieces, Evans renders pop favorites "Que Sera, Sera" and "Jamaica Farewell," among others. One track distinctively different from the rest of the recording spotlights another Trinidadian vocalist, Mona Baptiste, who sings a "Calypso Blues" to the accompaniment of pitched drums.
