In 1971, Loleatta Holloway released a superb funk 45 on the Fantasy sub label, Galaxy entitled 'Bring It On Up'. An essential tune from the era with soaring vocals, southern styled guitar, strong brass and funky drums.
On the flip is an incredible super soul gem, previously album only, from Ron Henderson And Choice Of Colour. The track first appeared on the 1976 'Soul Junction' LP but has never been on a 45 single in it's own right. Powerful strings and heart wrenching vocals combine with a stunning arrangement on this killer piece!
