Totally left-field album from Veloso, recorded in 1972 on his return from exile in the UK after imprisonment from the Brazilian government. This record is famous as the most returned record in Brazilian history! Why? Because it's an avant-garde soundscape of sounds from Brazil! Within this weird stuff you'll also find a seriously pschedelic funky rock track and a sublime crazy version of "Cinnamon and Clove" using just human voice multi-tracked. Oh yes! One of my favourite Brazilian records.
