    First part of a two part edition from LEGSMAN RECORDS both feature the famous PENITENTIRAY rhythm. Originally produced at KING TUBBY’S and mixed by SCIENTIST. The rhythm was written by PAPA KOJAK and recorded at CHANNEL ONE in 1979. Here KOJAK lays down some brand new lyrics – FREEDOM FIGHTER - which was only available on dub-plate and now gets an official release. The second cut here is KOJAK in fine chanting style – ROOTED – which sits on the LegsMan produced – ONE MAN A GAAN rhythm and features two live Horn dubs. Part 2 will follow up next month with two new vocal cuts on the KING TUBBY’S recorded PENITENTIRAY rhythm and an un-released dub mix. So don’t sleep on these only 300 pressed.
