It’s been a few years since THE SKATALITES dropped brand new music – 2016 to be exact, when the “Platinum Ska” album was released. Jump Up released the vinyl and cassette editions in 2019, and they’ve been keeping fans happy on the merch table ever since. The band keeps touring year after year, and last summer in Chicago we talked about how some new tunes needed to be on 45 rpm DJ vinyl – the band secretly went into the studio that fall and BOOM – two new signature ska groovers for 2024, so “Dance Away” while riding the “Ska Train”.
