More forward-thinking house music from the don Theo Parrish. "Dance Of Medusa", essentially a locked-in groove, a bumpin' loop of growling sub-bass and jazz piano, that rises with an intense rate and then collapses to just space without warning. Hear me, this is heavy!
On "Bubbles", it sounds like his having a blast, his signature metronomic hats and sunken kicks set the pace for this playful, squelchy house experiment. "Ambalamps" - an eight minute wonder through crashing cymbals, reversed woozy strings and heavy bass. Very abstract, very good!
