As a key player in the Downtown NYC scene of the late seventies and early eighties, Arthur Russell created idiosyncratic and beautuful music that spanned the genres of disco, folk, rock, electro, post punk, dub, and orchestral compostion, bridging the worlds of pop and avant garde music!
