Two ultra-rare private press albums, recorded in the late 70's by little-known St Louis 4 piece, Breakaway. Their sound is rooted in jazz-rock, funk, soul and disco - 'Breakaway' and 'Straight To The Top', were produced in the group's golden era before they disbanded in 1980.
"Who Was It This Time", and "There's A New Group In Town" featured on 1st and 2nd volumes of BBE's blue-eyed soul "Americana" compilation series. **Both vinyl formats comes with a CD version**
