The First 10 Creation Records singles released between 1983 and 1984: 10 x 7" Boxset presented in a deluxe lift off lid box and replica sleeves with a booklet containing reminiscenes from the artists. Produced in conjunction with the artists and Alan Mcgee. In the summer of 1983, Creation Records released its first seven inch single, and one of the most influential labels in the history of British pop music was born. The label blazed a trail of critically acclaimed 'Single Of The Week' releases in the UK music press and gained a reputation for collectability and quality. These releases still hold a legendary position in the canon of British independent music and many of these artists are still performing and recording today. Newly remastered especially for this package and sounding remarkable! This set of recordings encapsulate that time and place like no other.
